Geo Logica has conducted geognostic and environmental surveys, along with related geotechnical laboratory testing, for the railway line doubling project on the Codogno–Cremona–Mantua line, from Piadena (km 55+286 LS) to Mantua (km 89+557 LS).
The tests consisted of Penetrometric and Dilatometric surveys for on-site characterisation of materials, as well as geognostic surveys and geotechnical laboratory tests on samples taken during drilling. Geophysical MASW-ReMi-ESAC surveys for seismic characterization were also carried out.
Geo Logica also conducted a campaign of environmental surveys and sampling of soil and ballasts, then subjected to laboratory analysis.
Our geotechnical laboratory also carried out a study for the lime and concrete treatment of soils through the Proctor and CBR analysis for the different mixtures.
