The characterization of contaminated sites, besides sampling and laboratory analysis of water and soil, is also performed through geophysical surveys such as electrical potential monitoring for HDPE liner integrity, electrical resistivity tomography, and ground-penetrating radar.
Environmental Sampling
In addition to sampling and traditional coring, which allows discrete sampling not only of the soil but also of interstitial gases in the unsaturated zone and groundwater in the saturated zone.
